Pasqualino’s

Back at the start of 2011, we were approached by the De Giorgi family (Gusto UK) to work with them on a huge new venture located on the Grade 1 listed site of the Theatre Royal.

Working alongside Xsite Architecture and Signtrade, we started the project with a branding process, overseeing all signage, and finally the design and installation of the interior artwork. We also handled all of their print work, stationary and range of menus.

The walls and huge ceiling of Pasqualino’s are layered up with vintage Italian posters, food packaging and ephemera all reworked and redrawn with the Pasqualino’s branding. Called on for our signature style, we have helped Gusto UK realise their vision of a truly unique contemporary venue, and a first for Newcastle’s city centre.

Gap + Keds

For a concept store on Fifth Ave, New York, showcasing Gap clothing and Keds sneakers, we were asked to further develop our Keds showroom walls and concept as a backdrop for the product.

Working with The Hilt, Amsterdam, we were asked to create on-garment graphics that we’d happily wear ourselves. Six successful years later we’re still doing just that, providing season after season of bespoke, hand crafted designs.

Ride Snowboards

Back in 2009 we were asked to work on a series of snowboards for a brand we’re all fond of in the winter sports world, Ride Snowboards. It’s always an honour to work on a project where the subject matter is already a passion, so this was amazing opportunity for us.

Below are the initial comps, and the final production board, the Ride Machete 2010/11.

Electrik Sheep

Electrik Sheep is a clothing and design led store opened by R.Hero in 2002. The store is filled with clothing, accessories, books, and art supplies all hand selected by us. Over 5 years we’ve built up a strong brand in Electrik Sheep, and as a result a strong following across Newcastle and beyond.

The project is truly multi-disciplinary, covering branding, illustration, web-design, art-direction and even curating, as the store also houses a gallery space whose walls have been graced by the likes of Banksy, Eine, Eelus, James Cauty, Pure Evil, and many more.

Keds

In May 2010, we worked on a very unique project, designing and planning the interior walls of the Keds showroom, uptown New York. We flew out for a week to install the designs in the showroom, providing the perfect backdrop to a refreshing new showroom for the brand.

Playing on the heritage of the brand, we used a series of adverts and posters dating back to 1916, mixed with images from the modern day Keds campaigns.

Hilfiger Denim
