Abbey Well Natural Mineral Water is one of the leading bottled water companies in the UK. They asked Reluctant Hero to completely re-brand their 100 year old company; develop new identities for each of their 4 leading brands; and take control of all their consumer and trade communications. We also devised a unique branding campaign for their print, online and trade promotions which has helped further differentiate them in a crowded marketplace.

As part of Abbey Well’s total ‘make-over’ they asked us to redesign the presentation of the Plus range of drinks. The simple and straight-forward style of the label clearly reflected the values of the product. The promotional materials all took the similar no-nonsense approach to the category.

So far, sales of Abby Well Plus have exceed their highest expectations.

Barbour asked us to help improve their graphic offering and make their product more appealing to a younger market. Along with branding the garments they also asked us to revitalise all their labelling. We also suggested several new ideas to carry the new labelling ideas throughout their in-store messaging.

4 years ago Deadgood asked us to help develop a brand and marketing strategy for the showcase event; Launch. We developed a flexible brand logo that has grown as the events have blossomed.

We are a primary partner in their expansion into the highly competitive US marketplace.

We’ve been developing cutting edge designs for each of their annual events ever since. The example shown uses fluorescent inks on uncoated paper that had to be double hit on the presses. The result was a brand style that permeated every aspect of their most successful show to date.

Mark Eisen commissioned Reluctant Hero to develop a print and billboard branding campaign to promote the Studio Mark Eisen brand in the Japanese marketplace. Outdoor and press ads were placed all over Tokyo and played a crucial role in breaking the Studio Mark Eisen brand in Japan.
