Since we can’t show any of the projects / seasons we’ve just completed, here’s an insight into our process. 95% of our graphics start with a sketch, and are all hand painted / inked for authenticity. No Photoshop brushes here!

We’ve just completed another series of tees for Graniph, Japan. They’ll be appearing instore and on the Graniph website soon!

Lazarides Gallery represent some of the most acclaimed young artists in the world today, including original artwork and prints from Antony Micallef, Faile, JR, Vhils, Stanley Donwood, Jamie Hewlett, and Zevs to name but a few.
In need of their first ever e-commerce website, they came to Reluctant Hero for all website graphics and art direction. Working closely with their web development team, we came up with a design that reflects the Lazarides’ unconventional attitude and staple of artists.
View the project here, and the live website here.

With everyone at Reluctant Hero being into snowboarding, we’re excited to announce that we’re currently working on some great projects with Ride Snowboards. We were selected in September last year to work on a very special collaborative project, and again a few weeks ago.

In October 2009 we were asked by 2K t-shirts, to join their impressive list of artists and illustrators. We’ve been long time fans of the brand, stocking it ourselves in Electrik Sheep for over 3 years, so were more than happy to contribute.

Several of our tees have been selected for Summer ‘10, we can’t reveal the designs yet but as soon as they’re available we’ll post them here.
2009 was a busy year for us and our gallery, Electrik Sheep, with a great line-up of artists showing their work over 12 months.
We curated shows from artists Si Scott, Amy Dover, Seb Lester, and finally a massive Jon Burgerman solo show, the walls in the gallery were never short of amazing over the year.
Here’s a selection of photos from the year in the Electrik Sheep gallery. Photo credit to Richard Kenworthy & David Bilbrough.

In November we headed out to New York, via. Kentucky where we visited our friends at TheBLDG gallery, for the launch of the Prefab77 exhibition.
In tow we had David Bilbrough loaded with various camera / film combinations, you can see some of the results below.
